How to add the ALT text to my images and GIF posts?

Want to make your social media posts inclusive for the visually impaired? Well, Social Blaze lets you add ALT text to your images and GIFs to ensure that visually impaired users who rely on screen readers can understand the content. This promotes accessibility across different platforms.

Follow these simple steps to add alt text to images and GIF posts:

  1. Go to “Create Post” on your dashboard.
  2. Craft your post by adding images from either your local device or Google Drive/Dropbox/Box/stock images.
  3. Next, check the checkbox labeled “Alternate Next” just below the post composer to enable the feature.
  4. You will see a text field on the screen. Enter your descriptive alt text here. Make sure to describe your image or GIF clearly.
  5. You can customize the alt text for each platform. To schedule the same post across different platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest), switch between platform tabs and customize the alt text to meet the specific requirements of each platform.
  6. Next, choose the social media platforms where you want to publish the posts with ALT text.
  7. Once done, schedule your post by clicking the “Add to queue” option from the drop-down.
