To manage your social media profiles, pages, or groups using Social Blaze, you will need to connect them with our tool.

We have already explained the process of connecting your social media profile, page, or group with Social Blaze in our detailed guide. You can check it here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IwuocDgPruHm-g_Sd9D1W-aqGFnLXm1rRyu6up02MtI/edit?usp=drive_link

However, there are certain regulations to consider when connecting your social accounts with Social Blaze.

Let’s discuss them in depth.

Things To Keep in Mind While Connecting Accounts With Social Blaze

1. Linking Facebook Pages with Instagram Business Profiles

  • You can connect your Facebook pages and Instagram Business Profiles with Social Blaze.
  • For this, you must have Admin or Editor access to those pages.
  • If your accounts are disabled on the “Connect Account” page, check your roles on those pages.
  • You might need to request the Admin or Owner to assign you the correct role, such as Admin or Editor.

2. Inherited Admin Role

  • You cannot connect to a Facebook Page if your Admin privileges come from a parent page.
  • To check this, go to your Facebook Page → Click “Settings” at the top right → Select “Page Roles” on the left.
  • If you’re listed under “Admin (inherited from the parent page),” you won’t be able to authorize the connection with Social Blaze.

3. Connecting Instagram Business Profiles

To connect your Instagram account with Social Blaze, you should:

  • Have a business profile on Instagram. A Personal or Creator account should be converted to a business one to connect with Social Blaze.
  •   Link it with an FB account where you have Admin or Editor access.

Refer to our detailed guide here

4. Permissions for Facebook Pages, Groups, or Instagram Business Profiles

  • You will need to allow certain permissions to publish and manage content when connecting a Facebook page, group, or Instagram business profile with Social Blaze.

This will help you manage your Social accounts using Social Blaze uninterruptedly.

5. Integrating Multiple Locations into Your Google Business Profile

  • When adding locations to your GBP, location categories reflect the groupings you defined during the initial setup of your account.
  • Any locations that are not included in a group will be listed under Ungrouped Locations. You can find more information in this Google Help document.

For more details, refer to the Google guide.

6. Managing Locked Locations

If you see a “locked” icon next to your locations, it indicates one of two issues:

  • Verification Pending:  To connect a Google Business Profile to Social Blaze, you must verify it.
  • Local Post API Disabled: Businesses or brands with over 10 locations can’t use the post feature via third-party tools like Social Blaze. This is due to the Google Business Profile API limitations.
