- Common issues with Business Manager on Facebook
1. Twitter says: user is over the daily status update limit
Twitter released the API limit update on October 22, 2018, which might be causing you the error. However, Social Blaze has addressed the issue with Twitter. So you can share or schedule your posts on Twitter as normal.
When you receive this error message, reschedule your posts by going to the ‘Manage Post’ section and selecting from the ‘Unschedule’ and ‘Error’ tabs.
2. Twitter says: your account is suspended and is not permitted to access this feature.
This message indicates a violation of Twitter’s rules, likely resulting in the suspension of your account. As a result, Twitter may block tweets sent through automation tools.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account on Twitter.
- Go to → Accounts → Manage Accounts → Reconnect Account (choose the specific Twitter account).
3. Facebook says: (#200) Insufficient permission to post to target on behalf of the viewer
The error indicates that you either lack permission to post on a specific page or didn’t grant us posting access during authentication.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Log into your Facebook account
- Go to ‘Settings’ → Click on Apps → Select Social Blaze → Click ‘Remove’.
- Sign in to your Social Blaze Account.
- Go to → Accounts → Connect Account → Connect Facebook Page
Allow all the permissions during the authentication process to prevent this error from occurring in the future.
4. Facebook says: (#200) Insufficient permission to post to the group
In the updated Facebook API, to post on Facebook Group, you must grant authorization for each group through Social Blaze. So, if a Group is not authorized, you will get this error message.
To resolve the error, you must authorize your Group with Social Blaze. Once done, reupload the post from the ‘Error’ tab. It will now be shared or scheduled successfully.
5. The token used in the request has expired
This error indicates that the social media account has not been connected to Social Blaze, causing the access token to expire. This may occur if you change your account password. Additionally, platforms including Facebook allow Social Blaze to share content on your social media page for up to 60 days. After this period, ensure that you reconnect your profile to prevent this error.
To resolve the error,
Navigate to ‘Accounts’ → Manage Account→ Reconnect button (for the specific account) → re-confirm the password.
6. Facebook says: (#32) Page request limited reached error
This error indicates that you have exhausted your daily share limit on Facebook. The platform uses a complex system to calculate the limit, factoring in metrics like ‘page engagement’ and the ‘number of shared posts every day’. Once the limit is exceeded, Facebook blocks additional posts. This restriction helps social media platforms combat spam effectively.
To resolve the issue, wait for 24 hours and share the post again. If you do not want to receive this error again, limit the number of posts made daily on your Facebook account.
7. Image Size should not exceed 3145728 bytes
You will get this error if you are trying to upload a large-sized image on Social Blaze. Simply schedule the image post as it is. Social Blaze will automatically resize the image, ensuring it is posted smoothly.
8. LinkedIn says: throttle limit for calls to this resource is reached.
This error indicates that LinkedIn is unable to publish the post because you have exceeded the daily limit. This limit is in place to prevent spamming and excessive sharing.
To resolve the issue, wait for 24 hours and share the post again. To prevent this error, try reducing the times you post or upload on LinkedIn every day.
9. You've exceeded the limit of directly publishing 50 posts to an Instagram Business account in 24 hours.
This error occurs if you have shared up to 50 posts within 24 hours. Due to API limitations, you are restricted to sharing no more than 50 posts per day on any Instagram page. For more information, check out the Instagram guidelines.
10. Common issues with Business Manager on Facebook
You may encounter issues if you are added as an admin through Business Manager to a page created via Facebook’s Business Manager. For example, you might see the error:
- Facebook says: (#200) You do not have permission to create an unpublished post.

- Navigate to Business Settings.
- Click Users.
- Click People.
- Select the person you want to remove.
- Click — and ‘Remove’.
After removing the user, add them as an admin to your chosen Facebook page (make sure you are not within the Business Manager Framework). If you are using the latest version of Facebook, the Account Manager must take the following action:

- Now, click ‘Page Role’ in the left column.
- Enter a name in the box and select the person from the list that appears.
- From the dropdown menu, click “Admin” to select a role.
- Finally, click ‘Add’ and enter your password to confirm.
Please note, if “Admin” does not appear, select “Editor”, this can be changed later.

Remember, if the account owner isn’t friends with the person being added, you will need to accept their invite before you can begin managing the page. Also, make sure the BUSINESS MANAGER is NOT used to assign you as an admin for the page you wish to manage.
