Social Blaze identifies a video as a YouTube Shorts, if:
- It has a vertical orientation.
- Its duration is less than 60 seconds.
On the other hand, Social Blaze considers a video as a regular YouTube video, if:
It has an aspect ratio of 16:9.
The duration of a regular video is:
- For verified channels – 12 hours
- For unverified accounts – 15 mins.

How To Connect Your YouTube Account To Social Blaze?
To connect your YT account with Social Blaze, follow these steps:
- On the dashboard, go to “Accounts” → “Connect Account” → YouTube → Connect Channel.
1. Add or Change Team Members
You can add or change team members to any connected accounts anytime. For this,
- From the list of connected accounts, select the ones that you want to add a team member.
- Click on “Edit” icon.
- Log into your Gmail account → select the YouTube channel.
- Allow access to Social Blaze o manage your YouTube account.
A prompt message will appear confirming that your YT account has been successfully connected. Now, you can use the Social Blaze tool to schedule your YouTube videos and shorts.
