Scheduling, daily publishing limits & fair use

Understand unlimited scheduling, each channel’s daily publishing limit, and what happens when a limit is reached.

The short version

Essentials and Team include unlimited scheduling, subject to fair use. Neither paid plan has a fixed monthly publishing allowance. Instead, each connected channel has its own daily publishing limit. A separate queue ceiling controls how many future posts can wait for that channel at once. These paid-plan rules do not change your Free Forever plan.

Daily publishing limits by network

These are SocialBlaze safeguards, not a guarantee that a network will accept every post. A network may apply a lower limit, permission restriction, account restriction or temporary rate limit. YouTube has separate upload quotas and is not included in this table.

The following SocialBlaze limits apply separately to each connected channel on Essentials and Team. They cover a rolling 24-hour period, not a calendar day.

What counts as a channel?

One connected account is one channel: for example, one Facebook Page, one LinkedIn profile or one Pinterest account. Connecting two Facebook Pages gives each Page its own 35-post limit. Essentials and Team use the same network limits; upgrading to Team does not raise a network’s daily allowance. Reconnecting the same account does not reset its recent publishing history.

How the rolling 24-hour window works

The window moves with the time of each post. It does not reset at midnight. If a Facebook Page publishes 35 posts at 9 a.m. on Monday, that Page needs to wait until those posts leave the 24-hour window before publishing another batch. If the posts went out at different times, capacity becomes available gradually.

Only posts sent through SocialBlaze count toward these SocialBlaze limits. Posts published directly on the network may still affect that network’s own restrictions. Publication already in progress reserves capacity. If a delivery outcome is uncertain, we keep that reservation while it is within the window rather than risk publishing a duplicate.

Unlimited scheduling and the queue ceiling

Scheduling a post and publishing a post are different things. You can plan future content without a monthly publishing allowance. Our paid-plan fair-use queue ceiling is 5,000 pending posts per connected channel, shared by that channel’s scheduled posts and posts awaiting review.

Those 5,000 posts could be scheduled across several weeks, months or years. They are not 5,000 posts per month, and they do not reset monthly. Publishing a queued post frees its place in the queue. Saving a draft does not use a pending-post place. Daily publishing limits still apply when a scheduled post is ready to go out.

Why your connected channels do not create a monthly pool

Suppose you connect one Facebook Page, one LinkedIn Page and one Pinterest account with a verified email. Their individual limits are 35, 50 and 25 posts per 24 hours. That adds up to 110 across those three accounts, provided each stays within its own limit.

You cannot transfer unused capacity between channels: publishing fewer Facebook posts does not increase the LinkedIn limit. Changing the number of paid channels changes your connection capacity and price. It does not create a shared monthly posting allowance.

What happens when you reach a limit?

SocialBlaze stops the publishing attempt before sending it to the network. Your content remains saved. Open the post in Manage Posts, review the limit message, and reschedule it for a later time when that channel has capacity. The message links back to this guide.

If you reach the queue ceiling, publish or remove a pending post before adding another, or save your new content as a draft. A limit on one channel does not use another channel’s capacity. Already published content stays published.

Fair use and network restrictions

Unlimited scheduling is intended for normal content planning. The pending queue ceiling and daily publishing limits protect service availability and help prevent excessive automated posting. A carousel is one destination post. Each photo or video published as a separate Story counts separately; publishing the same content to three accounts creates three destination posts. Separate entries in a thread count separately. Editing an existing published post, reading analytics and replying in the inbox do not create a new publishing allowance entry.

YouTube uploads are subject to YouTube’s channel and application quotas. Other supported networks, including Tumblr and WordPress, also retain their own restrictions; the table above does not establish a numeric SocialBlaze allowance for them. Separate API request, storage and media-processing limits can also apply.
