Locating a website’s RSS feed URL is key for automatically sharing its content through SocialBlaze. Some websites make the feed easy to find, while others might require a bit of effort. Luckily, there are a few simple ways to discover the RSS feed URL, making it easy to add to your SocialBlaze process.
Here are different ways to find a site’s RSS feed URL:
Many websites a follow standard RSS feed URL format, such as websitename.com/feed. Just replace “website name” with the actual site’s name you are trying to access. If the URL works, you’ve successfully located the RSS feed.
Visit the website where you want to find the RSS feed. Right-click on the page and choose “View Page Source”.
In the page sources, press Ctrl + F (or Command + F) to search for “RSS”. If you find a link starting with “HTTPS” and containing “RSS”, copy it – this is the site’s RSS feed URL.
For those using Google Chrome can install a third-party extension to find RSS feed URLs. The installed extension will automatically find and display the RSS feed URL of the site you are browsing.
Many websites include an RSS icon on their homepage or footer, often as a small orange square with white radio waves. Clicking the icon reveals the RSS feed URL, which you can copy.
