How To Connect An Account In SocialBlaze - Connecting a Profile, Page, Or Group.

To manage your social media profiles, pages, or groups using SocialBlaze, you will need to connect them with our tool.

We have already explained the process of connecting your social media profile, page, or group with SocialBlaze in our detailed guide. You can check it here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IwuocDgPruHm-g_Sd9D1W-aqGFnLXm1rRyu6up02MtI/edit?usp=drive_link

However, there are certain regulations to consider when connecting your social accounts with SocialBlaze.

Let’s discuss them in depth.

Linking Facebook Pages with Instagram Business Profiles

You can connect your Facebook pages and Instagram Business Profiles with SocialBlaze.

For this, you must have Admin or Editor access to those pages.

If your accounts are disabled on the “Connect Account” page, check your roles on those pages.

You might need to request the Admin or Owner to assign you the correct role, such as Admin or Editor.

Inherited Admin Role

You cannot connect to a Facebook Page if your Admin privileges come from a parent page.

To check this, go to your Facebook Page → Click “Settings” at the top right → Select “Page Roles” on the left.

If you’re listed under “Admin (inherited from the parent page),” you won’t be able to authorize the connection with SocialBlaze.

Connecting Instagram Business Profiles

To connect your Instagram account with SocialBlaze, you should:

Have a business profile on Instagram. A Personal or Creator account should be converted to a business one to connect with SocialBlaze.

Link it with an FB account where you have Admin or Editor access.

Refer to our detailed guide here.

Permissions for Facebook Pages, Groups, or Instagram Business Profiles

You will need to allow certain permissions to publish and manage content when connecting a Facebook page, group, or Instagram business profile with SocialBlaze.

This will help you manage your Social accounts using SocialBlaze uninterruptedly.

Integrating Multiple Locations into Your Google Business Profile

When adding locations to your GBP, location categories reflect the groupings you defined during the initial setup of your account.

Any locations that are not included in a group will be listed under Ungrouped Locations. You can find more information in this Google Help document.

For more details, refer to the Google guide.

Managing Locked Locations

If you see a “locked” icon next to your locations, it indicates one of two issues:

Verification Pending:  To connect a Google Business Profile to SocialBlaze, you must verify it.

Local Post API Disabled: Businesses or brands with over 10 locations can’t use the post feature via third-party tools like SocialBlaze. This is due to the Google Business Profile API limitations.

For more details, refer to Google FAQs.
